Hollow Tining/Tree planting

The greens are to be hollow tined on the 22nd February 2010. They are being done early so as to try and make sure the greens are back in good order for April. It does take longer for them to recover at this time of year, but they have to be done to maintain the quality of the greens. We have modified our methods since September to try and ensure they recover as quickly as possible once the growing season starts.

The tree planting program for 2010 is nearly finished. Over 400 young trees have been transplanted on to the course from the tree nurseries. They are a mixture of Oak, ash, beech, birch and maple.
